Will 'God's Not Dead' Movie Change the Mind of Skeptics About God?

If God exists, then why doesn't He help the starving kids in Africa?

If God is real, then how come He doesn't heal people who have cancer?

If God is love, then why would He send someone to hell?

These are some of the questions that you get when you share the gospel with people.

They're all really good questions and ALL of them have really good answers.

And there's a new movie that's coming out that wants to share those answers with the world.  Will it make an impact for the Kingdom?

Watch the trailer and judge for yourself.

Why People Don't Come to Christ

After a while of answering these types of questions that skeptics have, I've come the conclusion that people don't give their life to Christ because of their objections to Christianity.

Instead, it really boils down to what Jesus says in John 3:19:

"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

Most people don't want to give up their sins.  Most people want to be able to do what they think is right in their own eyes.

They know that if they need to get right with God, then that means that they will need to change.

I was a prodigal for many years until the Lord got a hold of my heart.

One Thing You Can Do To Plant a Gospel Seed in a Skeptic

So if you have a friend of yours that's a skeptic, here's an idea for you:  take him or her to go see the God's Not Dead movie.

You never know, maybe some good gospel seeds will be planted and you'll be able to use it as a conversation to get them to think about where their life is heading.
